Art doesn't have to be understood to be felt. I paint what I feel, and if it resonates with you, that's magic. If it doesn't, that's okay too. Not every piece is for everyone, and that's the beauty of it. Create for yourself first, share second.
Just finished a community mural with local kids. Watching them go from "I can't draw" to "look what I made!" is why I do this. Art isn't about talent—it's about permission. Permission to try, to fail, to create something that didn't exist before. Everyone is an artist if they allow themselves to be.
